Change Grow Live Briefing (understanding substance misuse and the impact on parenting)

Delivered by Change Grow Live (CGL) and Sefton Safeguarding Children Partnership.

Sefton Change Grow Live (CGL) Drug and Alcohol Service are delivering this briefing for professionals from across the children’s workforce to understand their multiagency responsibilities in identifying and supporting families who are struggling with drugs or alcohol and the impact on parenting.

You will hear how services can support children, parents and families, hear about the referral pathway and have the opportunity to explore what children, parents and families need through their journey to recovery.

The Briefing will also explore and discuss advice about reducing the harmful effects of drugs and alcohol including the ‘What’s the Score’ screening tool for professionals, the referral pathway and a Q&A session.
