CHAT & FAST Briefing

Sefton Safeguarding Children Partnership invites you to attend an essential multi-agency safeguarding children briefing:

CHAT and FAST - Front Door Services for Children and Families in Sefton                                                     

This briefing will provide a great opportunity to hear about the progress and reflections made so far and will support the children’s workforce in embedding the Sefton’s Children’s help and Advice Team (CHAT) and Family Advice Support Team (FAST) model in Sefton.

It will also include the following:

• Update on CHAT and FAST - The journey so far 
• Hear all about Sefton’s ‘Conversational Referral Model‘, which was launched in May 2024 and the changes that have been made since.
• How to use the model
• Explore consent and why it is so important
• Actions and Tracking
• Why we need to embed and use screening tools such as SSCP Neglect Screening Tool, SSCP Child Exploitation (CE) Screening Tool, DASH (Domestic Abuse stalking honour), RIC (Risk Indicator Checklist), Domestic and Brook Traffic Light Tool alongside the SSCP Level of Need Guidance.
