Child Exploitation (CE) - Identifying and Responding to CE in Sefton

Identifying and addressing child exploitation is a priority for Sefton.

Working Together to Safeguard Children (2023) states: Practitioners should consider the needs, experiences and vulnerabilities of the individuals or groups who are experiencing, or are at risk of experiencing, harm outside the home – including from criminal exploitation, sexual exploitation or serious violence’.

Sefton Safeguarding Children Partnership would like to invite you to a short, essential virtual briefing where you will find out crucial information to protect children against Child Exploitation.

This briefing will be delivered by partners / My SPACE and will inform you about recent changes to Sefton’s Child Exploitation Screening Tool and how the use of the tool can be used as part of referral processes.
