Neurodiversity through a Safeguarding Lens

Sefton Safeguarding Children Partnership are delighted to introduce this virtual briefing to support Sefton Children’s Workforce in their roles and responsibilities and child centred practice. This briefing is delivered in collaboration with colleagues from Children’s Social Care, Health, Education and Parent/Carer Forum.

The briefing aims to demonstrate neurodiversity through a safeguarding lens and explore multi-agency responsibilities to children who are neurodiverse and may also be suffering or have suffered trauma. The session will cover ‘what do we mean by Neurodiversity?’ and learning from Sefton Reviews and Multi-Agency Audits.
