Parental Mental Health (Virtual)

Delivered by Mersey Care NHS Trust

The aim of this session is to strengthen a basic awareness of traditional categories of mental ill health and how this may impact parenting capacity and the wellbeing of children.

Discussions within the session will allow staff to demonstrate an understanding of the 6 domains of parenting capacity and explain how symptoms and presentation from various mental illnesses may compromise parents' ability to deliver on those, impacting on the wellbeing of children.
